MIT Sloan School of Management in Chicago

Half Day Conference with the title: “Escaping the Resources Curse: Successful and Sustainable Economic Diversification in Namibia featuring Namibian leaders addressing a group of 25 MBA students from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Chicago. This endeavor forms part of the ongoing personal initiative of Ms. Andrea Barry to put Namibia on the map for future business leaders to assist Namibians in expanding their network.

Harvard Mini Convention

Full day conference with the main purpose of introducing Namibia to 75 MBA students from Harvard University as a prime Investment destination. Conference is the brainchild of Ms. Andrea Barry, Non-Executive Director on the board of Pupkewitz Holdings and Granddaughter of the legendary Mr. Harold Pupkewitz.

Harold Pupkewitz Graduate School of Business

The HP-GSB has been established to provide world-class business education that meets the needs of economy and society in Namibia, SADC and Africa. Funding for the establishment of the school was provided by leading Namibian businessman Mr. Harold Pupkewitz, who pledged N$ 10 million support over a period of 5 years.

Commercial Advancement Training Scheme (CATS)

Commercial Advancement Training Scheme (CATS) is a two year programme providing dual training to both school leavers and employees wanting to further their professional careers. CATS is a registered section 21 company – not for gain. It is a private initiative by the Namibian industry and currently consists of 23 member companies.
