The Pupkewitz Mathematics Spring School 

The Pupkewitz Mathematics Spring School is set to take place over two weekends in 20024 -  20 & 21, and 27 & 28 September. 

121 learners from six schools in Walvis Bay and Swakopmund will take part:  Kuisebmond Secondary School, Duinesig High School, Duneside High School, Swakopmund Secondary school, Westside High School and Namib High School. 

The Pupkewitz Mathematics Spring School will answer a great need. Our senior secondary learners are under great pressure to complete a very comprehensive and challenging curriculum. Under these circumstances it has become very difficult for the teachers to push their able learners to meet their potential.

Most of these learners do not have the means to afford private tuition and extra lessons. Their grateful response to this opportunity to prepare for their examinations bears testimony to this. The 2023 results of the learners, who attended the Pupkewitz Mathematics Spring School show that 82% of the Grade 12 learners achieved outcomes that qualify them for university entrance, and 95% of the Grade 11 learners qualified for admission to Grade 12 mathematics.
